How do I start a conversation?

Open the app, choose a character from the home screen or explore page, give them a name, and start chatting! You can type or use voice input.

Is my data private?

Yes. Free users' conversations are stored only on their device. Premium users' data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM for cloud sync. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find My AI Friend, and manage or cancel from there. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app, go to the Premium/Paywall screen, and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom.

What are Smart Credits?

Smart Credits let you use the enhanced Smart AI mode for deeper conversations. Premium users get 20 free smart messages per day. You can purchase additional credits (50 for $2.99) if you need more.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including chat history, settings, and preferences. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first.

The app isn't working properly

Try these steps: 1) Close and reopen the app. 2) Check your internet connection. 3) Update to the latest version from the App Store. If the issue persists, contact us below.
